Well, It's About Time!

This post won't serve to give you any new insights on life. You are not going to become a better person for reading it. You probably have heard what I'm about to say in many other places.

I've heard it said, that life is all about the "dash". That little horizontal line that separates the dates used to define earthly existence. It's all about the dash because you have no control over when you enter this world, you have none over when you leave it. What you can dictate, is what you do with the dash. Think about what your dash stands for right now. Go ahead, stop reading for a minute and decide what your dash, says about you, thus far in life.
My guess is, if we are honest with ourselves, such reflection(I hate that word) can sometimes be uncomfortable. Did you come up with more regrets than moments of happiness? Did you think about people you love, or those you don't. Do moments of success or failure flood your mind?
How have you used your time? How can the balance of your time be put to good use?
Believe me, I've wasted as much time as the next guy on ventures and relationships that have not paid dividends into my life.
I have come to believe that not much of what we each experience is unique. Life is cyclical. Ever repeating its themes and lessons in due time for all who stop and take notice.
Surround yourself with good people, love them with abandon.
