The true measure of your Christmas experience will not be told for about another 30 day or so.
Right around then, you will be back into a normal routine at work. The gifts will not be new anymore, and the credit card statements will start to roll in. As with many things in life, the way you feel at the time of occurrence will differ from what you feel after you have had time to process and think about your actions and attitudes.
Don't panic. I don't want you to sell all that you own and set us shop in a hut somewhere in a country that is more difficult to spell than pronounce. I don't want your kids to be made fun of in school for not dressing a certain way or for being out of the precious pop culture loop.
I just want you to be reasonable.
Kris, Aiden, and I have been blessed by all of you this year in more ways than we can describe.
Enjoy those around you this Christmas, they are the true "Perfect Gift"
