The idea for this began some years ago. Plagiarizing the TOP TEN list from David Letterman. I thought I could put together some memorable experiences in a list-like form.
There would be no real rules, the list would be/is a living thing. Ever changing and being updated. For example..... Top Ten funniest stories that took place in a bar or top ten saddest moments with a midget.....whatever, you get the idea. Basically there is no real list.
Yadda yadda, clearly the origins of the TOP TEN list would be copyright problematic for me and I lack the patience to write a book anyway. Enter the BLOG..... this Blog.
I put off starting a blog for the longest time. I did not want to be perceived as part of the MY SPACE community/generation. I do not want anyone to think that I assume my life is so much better or interesting then the next guy's. I am not much smarter then the next guy. I am not much better looking then the next guy.
Then, over the past few months I have begun to realize something. IT'S NOT ABOUT ME!!!
My life and life experiences are the product of those around me, the incredible friends and family God has blessed me with.
Some of what I write here will be up to date, some of it will be memories of things from years ago. Either way I will try to keep it humorous and will try to avoid embarrassing the people I care about.
A few ground rules....
1. I'm not concerned with spelling, grammar or punctuation. So deal with it.
2. If you have a comment on something I have written, try to respond via the blog comments. I think doing so will breathe life and add different, valuable perspectives to anything that comes to be posted here.
3. I will not vent in anger here. If I am pissed at you, you will know about it first hand.... in person. So I will not be apologizing too often in my posts.
4. Share the contents of this blog with whomever you chose, perhaps you could let me know when/if you do so.
5. FYI....... Comments can be left anonymously. You do not need to create an account of any sort.
