Pardon the lack of compression. At the time, it was never thought this track would be used separate of the live event. I assure you there was no distortion live.

No need to apologize for the lack of compression. Best I could do with a VHS tape and $5000 borrowed to mix and press a CD. I assume I could better now in 2014 with my Mac ;-)
Yes, I am sure you could.
My dig wasn't directed at your efforts. It was aimed at the fact that although the event was recorded, compression was not used expressly for post, regardless of the FOH mix.
