Somewhere around 6 or 7am you are just about ready to leave the relative sanctuary of your home and head out into the world. I'm willing to bet that part of your routine before you set out involves at least one final look into the mirror. Who is it that you see in there?
What are some of the puzzle pieces that combine in forming the opinion that you have of yourself?
Your income
Your physical appearance
Your education
Your politics
Your faith in the creed of your choosing
Your sexual orientation or preferences
Your take on these items, along with others, make up that person staring back at you in the morning mirror.....right?
What about those people who do life with you? The people you see every day have quite the view of the person you are, don't they? If these people started telling you how it was they viewed you, and it was somewhat different from how you thought you were perceived, how would that change the way you feel? Would it be cause for you to adjust the way you carry yourself? By no means am I suggesting that you (we) should live life by the leave of any group of people. Simply consider what makes you the real you. What you feel you are, or what others perceive you as.
