Fill In The Blank.
I recently had dinner with two people I admire a great deal. The three of us spend a fair amount of time with each other on a weekly basis. One of them is the same age as I am, the other is younger than me. We spent the night telling stories, revealing secrets, and learning from one another. These people are a big part of what makes my life here a complete blessing.
As I sat there, I couldn't help but realize where I was. I became totally aware that my life right now, is nothing like I pictured it would be.
Ten years ago, If you had told me I'd......
Be living in Lancaster PA
Have a Son
Love the people I spend my days with
Be enjoying my faith again
My reaction would have been somewhere between hitting you, and laughing(at you) while hitting you.
We can put all the "Never" we want in our lives, the truth is, it really doesn't matter what we want. We probably don't even know what we want. After all, what we want changes on a daily basis, much less year by year. Now take all those changes and multiply them by 15 years.
This doesn't mean that we should not plan for the future. I do think that we should not do so at the expense of the present.

Proverbs 19:21

Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.
