Top Ten Funniest Movies

Kris and I found ourselves up late the other night doing some channel surfing.
We came across an old movie or two that made us laugh out loud. Not many comedies that are popular at present make me laugh at all.
I have no use for Jim Carey, Will Ferrell is hit or miss in my opinion. And the recent popularity of Vince Vaughn is way overblown, in my opinion.
Yadda Yadda, we started to put together a list of what we thought were funny movies. Movies that make us(you?) laugh throughout the ENTIRE movie. A feat I think most comedy movies made today fall way short of. Almost anybody can be funny for 30 minutes out of a 2 hour movie.
In true Shamus Top Ten Fashion, these are in no real order.
My Cousin Vinny http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0104952/

Parenthood http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098067/

Meet the Parents http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0212338/

Planes, Trains and Automobiles http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093748/

Uncle Buck http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098554/

The Birdcage http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115685/

Almost any Marx Brothers movie(mostly my choice)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marx_Brothers

The Princess Bride http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093779/

Dodgeball http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0364725/

What About Bob? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103241/

Funny Farm http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095188/

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097958/

Arsenic And Old Lace http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0036613/

Freak http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0174666/

Bill Cosby:Himself http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083652/

What are your thoughts?

O Yeah, The Friends DVDs in the pic are Kris' doing. I don't think Friends could ever hold a candle to Seinfeld or The Office.

And of course, North Ave. Irregulars. The fingernail scene always makes me laugh!!!

My first thought was Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.. but I agree with most of the ones you listed.. as well as Tom's.

I still get a kick out of Mrs Doubtfire, Robin Williams was great in that!
